PRODUCT AND MATERIAL INFORMATION

You'll find a wide choice of hammocks, chairs and stands made from a variety of carefully selected materials.

All our hammocks are handcrafted in Brazil and all our woods are FSC® certified.

To help you make your choice, here you'll find all the information you need on the products and materials we use.

Jobekcord

Jobekcord is a synthetic, technological fiber developed by Jobek that offers numerous advantages.

This antimicrobial fabric, as comfortable as cotton, is UV and weather resistant, and will dry very quickly in the event of a light shower (water retention rate less than 0.01%).

It's easy to care for, with a simple wipe down with soap and water.

Jobekcord makes up the vast majority of our JOBEK hammocks.

Cotton

It grows naturally using traditional methods that have existed in Brazil for 5000 years.

Providing incomparable comfort, cotton hammocks tend to relax much more than Jobekcord hammocks.

They can be cleaned with a sponge and soap and water.

Metal

Our metal brackets and fixing kits are carefully manufactured in Europe. They are extremely robust, offering good stability and load-bearing capacity. They also have excellent weather and UV resistance, making them ideal for outdoor use.

Cleaning with a sponge and soap and water, or a soft cloth, is all that's required.

Scandinavian Spruce - FSC® Mixed

Our Scandinavian spruce supports are made in Europe to the highest quality standards.

Certified FSC Mixed, this wood is resistant to summer weather and UV rays.

Easy to assemble and dismantle, they're light enough to move around your garden.

For cleaning, a sponge or soft cloth in clear or soapy water is ideal. We strongly recommend that you varnish or stain your surface with products suitable for wood every one or two years, depending on use.

Siberian Larch - 100% FSC® certified

Our Siberian Larch supports are 100% FSC-certified.

Sturdy and solid, they offer good resistance to summer weather and UV rays.

They are very easy to maintain: clean with clear or soapy water and a sponge or soft cloth.
